Visual and audio materials can be an effective way to communicate with students, as they can have a greater impact than written words. Videos present information that can not be delivered with traditional printed materials to students in the form of a mosaic supported by graphics, text, and sound.

Aside from the control given to the students in the creation of video through the selection of the content, having the chance to pause, rewind, fast forward, and change the speed of the video encourages students to actively participate in the process of the lecture, this can also increase concentration and result in better retention. A video with a specific topic that targets a particular audience can increase students’ motivation. The use of "Storyboard" in video design, consisting of three stages as pre-production, production, and post-production, is a technique that can be used to define and organize information. “Storyboard” brings significant advantages both in terms of time and cost. Moreover, “Storyboard” guides all the video creation steps as it allows for selecting, prioritizing, and editing information and ensures adherence to set goals. To draw attention to the critical points in the "Storyboard", which has certain learning objectives, the places where the audio and visual materials will be used should be specified, and it should be made easier to make the video that will be formed interactive. Videos created using "Storyboard" should be kept short and associated with other lessons materials.
