COVID-19 is the worst pandemic the world has faced after the Spanish Flu, which began in 1918 and infected approximately 500 million people. The SARS-CoV-2, which cause the COVID-9 infection disease spreads easily and very rapidly through respiratory droplets and contact from person-to-person. As research towards specific treatment of this disease and vaccine still continues, the most important attempt in preventing and controlling the disease is personal protective measures. In this regard, this article was written with the aim to comprehensively review the guidelines and regulations on personal protective equipment of the institutions or organizations which are accepted as reference in the field of disease control and prevention at the international and national level.
