The recent coronavirus disease outbreak (COVID-19) has been declared by the World Health Organization as a public health emergency creating an international pandemic. Due to the pandemic, a large number of patient hospitalizations take place in hospitals. The care and treatment of these patients is characteristic due to the seriousness of the disease and the high risk of transmission to many people, including healthcare professionals. Nursing services managers have roles and responsibilities for reducing mortality rates due to illness, improving health by providing timely, need-based evidence-based care, and providing care for patients in a safe working environment. In this review article, it is aimed to compile and provide information about the management of nursing services in hospital under COVID - 19 outbreak in line with the relevant literature. In this context, the role and responsibilities of nursing services managers under the COVID19 outbreak were discussed under the headings of nurse workload, appropriate physical conditions and adequate equipment, development and career planning, social rights, occupational health and safety, team collaboration, communication, appreciation and recognition, effective management and leadership.
