Self Concept of Students from School of Nursing

This research was carried out as descriptive in three nursing school within the boundaries of Ankara municipality to identify the self-concepts of students. Giessen test (self form) and questionnaire form containing demographic information was used as a means of data collection. Giessen test detects how a person perceives himself and is composed of six subscales. The test was evaluated with the pattern prepared as to the characteristics of the subscales. While evaluating the data, t test, statistical tests of percentage and ANOVA were used. As a result of the research, it was determined that the pupils of school of nursing have lovable, capable to do what she wants, careful of having an elegant appearance, hard to make contact, controlling at spending money, hiding anger, showing senses of love, relaying on environment, generous, creative, self-denying, capable of making contact with the opposite sex, enjoying from living with people personality differences.
